Travel in Place

This one’s for the locals - doesn’t a change of scenery sound pretty amazing right now?

Lucky for us, Sacramento offers everything we need for a restorative getaway …without having to go very far at all.

When you want to treat yourself, consider a stay at one of our local hotels – the perfect spot for remote work, distance learning or just plain relaxation. Or, enjoy a delicious meal at one of our restaurants, now open for limited inside dining! Of course, to-go and patio seating are still there for you if that's what you prefer. Check out an outdoor attraction, small book store or boutique while you're in the area.

Remember to stick with the people you live with, wear a mask and practice social distancing to keep things safe.

You can explore more – but travel less – right in your own backyard.

Now that Sacramento County is in the state's red tier for Covid-19, you can visit museums, dine indoors, or even cozy up to a bar and have a cocktail in a real glass. Whatever fits your level of comfort, there's an activity for you here.

Itinerary: Enjoy a Safe 'Date Night'
