Sacramento is full of fun activities during the holidays. While the winter holidays may have the most events – like live performances of the Theater of Lights on the Old Sacramento Waterfront and the Polar Express train – Sacramentans love a holiday, and they’re happy to include visitors and time of year in the celebrations.

Celebrate the harvest during the annual Farm-to-Fork Festival each September, watch fireworks during the Fourth of July and New Year’s Eve, watch the St. Patrick’s Day Parade in March, celebrate Lunar New Year, or look below to find one of the many events spread out throughout the year to coincide with the holidays. Sacramento is one of the most diverse cities in the country, so whatever holidays you celebrate, chances are we are celebrating them too.
