You have arrived at 8-Track, a location that has been a cultural hotspot in Midtown Sacramento for many decades. In the spirit of the building’s long history of music, arts, and late night revelry, we have created a unique environment and experience that takes inspiration from the past and artfully applies it to the present. Our cocktail menu takes a two-pronged approach, with enhanced cocktails on the one hand and throwback cocktails on the other. What are “enhanced cocktails”? We appreciate you asking! We have taken the most popular cocktails, such as a Vodka Soda or Jack & Coke, and applied a myriad of techniques and ingredients to create a new and elevated flavor and experience that we hope will help you rediscover your usual order for the first time. Our throwback cocktail offerings celebrate great drinks in history that may have dropped out of vogue and now can be hard to find. We know you’ve ordered a Cosmopolitan at many different bars and probably gotten something different at each one! Cocktail history can be a little tough to track because those that write it have usually had a few! We’ve done our research and have recreated the classics as close to the original recipe that we could find. We also would like to let you know that we pride ourselves in the ingredients and preparation of our cocktails. One of the techniques in creating our ingredients is called “Superjuicing” which allows us to utilize fresh squeezed citrus juices and produces shelf-stable, sustainable, and better tasting components for our cocktails. Whew! We know that was a lot of information and if you’ve made it this far, thank you for reading all the way through.
