With the need to wear masks seemingly here for the foreseeable future, Sacramento artists are stepping up to provide unique examples, giving people the opportunity to wear something that not only supports the arts, but helps fund free masks by the same artist for frontline health workers.

The Atrium is a nonprofit organization that provides coworking spaces for artists, organizes popup shops of items made from "upcycled" materials, teaches recycling specifically for the local region and more.

When the COVID-19 pandemic hit, many local artists began sewing masks for health workers, and now they've expanded it to an online marketplace where people can purchase masks.
