The Center for Land-Based Learning is a nonprofit organization headquartered about 20 miles from downtown Sacramento that is working to train the next generation of farm managers who will ensure that California's farms not only survive, but thrive.

In the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, farmers haven't gotten a day off, and the Center for Land-Based Learning hasn't stopped its work, either. In this episode of the Visit Sacramento Podcast, hear from Marisa Alcorta how the center is making things work, and what it means to be a farm manager.
