Visit Sacramento has unveiled the next big moment in Sacramento’s culinary evolution: "Farm to Fork at Terra Madre Americas," a first-of-its-kind convergence debuting in downtown Sacramento from September 26–28, 2025.

Farm to Fork at Terra Madre Americas’ will combine Terra Madre Americas, the American version of Slow Food’s Terra Madre Salone del Gusto – one of the world's largest food events held in Turin, Italy, every other year – with key elements of Visit Sacramento’s Farm-to-Fork Festival. The result will be an all-new, FREE three-day culinary experience in and around the SAFE Credit Union Convention Center.

“Visit Sacramento has been privileged to create and host the Farm-to-Fork Festival for eleven years on Sacramento’s Capitol Mall. Over the last decade, we have seen it expand to become one of the most anticipated festivals of its kind in Northern California,” said Visit Sacramento President & CEO Mike Testa. “At the same time, Sacramento’s reputation as a food destination has continued to grow, with restaurants flourishing, the MICHELIN Guide and James Beard Foundation recognizing our community, and media from across the country writing about our restaurants. Slow Food selecting Sacramento as its American host is a true testament to where the city is in our culinary journey, and marrying the event with the Farm-to-Fork Festival will take the event to the next level.”
