Sacramento's Crest Theatre is a small, locally run organization, and it, like other venues, has struggled to survive the shutdowns necessitated by the Covid-19 pandemic, but General Manager Robert Alvis has been busy coming up with unique ways you can support the theater, including private screenings of movies of your choice when it's safe to do so – hopefully later this month.
On this week's episode of the Visit Sacramento Podcast, Alvis shares that and other ideas on how you can help support the Sacramento icon, and he shares backstage facts about the Crest, such as how there are green footprints on the wall in one of the rooms from Kurt Cobain when Nirvana performed at the theater.
