Downtown Sacramento’s popular Friday Night Concerts in the Park are back! The weekly summer concert series in Cesar Chavez Plaza is a hit with Sacramento natives and visitors alike.

Sacramento’s warm summer evenings make the capital city the perfect venue for an outdoor concert series that features local bands and some of the area’s brightest DJ stars.

This season, come downtown to see acts including ZuhG, The Nibblers, !!! (pronounced Chk Chk Chk) and Arden Park Roots. And all shows are free.

Each week from now through July 25, the shows run from 5 - 9 p.m.

No outside alcohol is allowed, but a beer garden in the park is always popular to cool off in the late afternoon, and there’s plenty of shade in Cesar Chavez Plaza.

Sacramento is a bike-friendly city, and concertgoers are welcome to bike to the shows, where they can park their bikes in the bike valet.

Once the concerts are over, there’s still plenty of night left to live, so head out to one of Sacramento’s many nightlife spots and keep the fun going.

The summer Friday Night Concerts in the Park are put on by the Downtown Sacramento Partnership. For a full list of musicians and park guidelines, visit the official event page.
