The lineup for Sacramento’s favorite free summer concert series, Concerts in the Park, is out.

This year’s lineup includes nearly 60 local and national bands and DJs, including Destroy Boys, Michael Marcagi, Kool John, Felix Cartal, and Arden Park Roots.

The 31st Annual Concerts in the Park series, organized by Downtown Sacramento Partnership, will once again bring live music to downtown’s Cesar Chavez Plaza on Friday evenings from May 3 to July 26, with the exception of July 5. Performances will be on those dates from 5 to 9 p.m.

This year, Downtown Sacramento Partnership announced that Concerts in the Park is expanding its footprint within Cesar Chavez Plaza to cover more than half of 10th and J Streets. With this additional space, there will be more room for new activations including a vintage market, silent disco, community art project, beauty bar, and local food vendors.

“Sacramento has a rich history of being home to up-and-coming musicians and cultivating a rich music scene, and we’re proud to be a part of that,” said Michael Ault, Executive Director of Downtown Sacramento Partnership. “As important as it is to capitalize on the momentum to Sacramento is seeing with festivals, it’s equally important for us to invest in people. We’re excited this year to provide more spaces and platforms for local creatives and create a unique experience for Sacramento.”
