Sacramento native Greta Gerwig's Golden Globe-winning "Lady Bird" takes California's capital to Hollywood's biggest stage March 4 with five Oscar nominations. And Sacramento is rooting for Gerwig and "Lady Bird" to win big.

One of the shots in the film shows the iconic sign of Club Raven, and the venue is hosting an Oscar party March 4 at 5 p.m., complete with a Lady Bird cocktail and Oscar ballot contest. Click here for more details from Sacramento365.

Another Oscar party is being held at the school that graduated Gerwig in 2002: St. Francis High School. The party will be held from 4:30 - 9 p.m. Click here for more details.

Nominations for the film include Best Picture, Best Actress, Best Supporting Actress, Best Original Screenplay and Best Director.
