STAR TREK THE EXHIBITION opened for an interactive, hands-on limited engagement at The Aerospace Museum of California. The 10,000-square-foot touring exhibition contains the world's most comprehensive collection of authentic Star Trek ships, set recreations, costumes and props from five television series and 11 films spanning more than 40 years. California Hall of Fame
Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger and First Lady Maria Shriver inducted the 2009 class of The California Museum's California Hall of Fame. In its fourth year, the California Hall of Fame has continued the tradition of honoring legendary people who embody California's innovative spirit. The 2009 inductees are: entertainer Carol Burnett, former Intel CEO Andrew Grove, governor and U.S. senator Hiram Johnson, decathlete and philanthropist Rafer Johnson, industrialist Henry J. Kaiser, philanthropist and peace activist Joan Kroc, film-maker George Lucas, football commentator John Madden, gay rights advocate Harvey Milk, artist Fritz Scholder, author Danielle Steel, fitness and bodybuilding pioneer Joe Weider, and Air Force test pilot General Chuck Yeager.
