Avid skiers, adventure travelers and wine lovers can now enjoy an easier way to travel to and from Sacramento International Airport (SMF). The Gateway Express Shuttle provides direct ground transportation service to the Napa Valley and South Lake Tahoe. The schedule includes four trips per day to the wine country and two to Tahoe.
Gateway Express Shuttle service is part of SMF's commitment to serve as the gateway to Northern California. Napa and Tahoe bound passengers no longer need to rent a car to reach the two world-class destinations. Napa Valley and South Lake Tahoe and residents can leave their cars behind when traveling for business or pleasure. And with 140 flights per day to 31 cities in the United States and Mexico, SMF offers great choices to all passengers, with less hassle.
"We are excited to announce the new shuttle service to Napa Valley and South Lake Tahoe," said Director of Airports G. Hardy Acree. "Our passengers have been asking for this for a long time."
