Need Period Promotion

Need Periods: 

July or August of 2026, 2027, or 2028, and the fourth quarter (October–December) of 2026.
 

The Perk:

Receive Marriott, Hyatt, Hilton, or IHG Points ($100 Value) or a $100 Amazon gift card for each qualified RFP submitted, with a maximum of five (5) RFPs per meeting planner during the promotion period.

How to Apply:

• Submit an RFP for the need period to your Visit Sacramento Sales Director, or via the Visit Sacramento website form below, or via the CVENT platform.
• Clearly mention the “Need Period Promotion” when submitting the RFP to ensure your submission is eligible.

How to Qualify:

• The RFP must be for a minimum of 250 total room nights, with at least 50 rooms on peak, and not to exceed 2,000 rooms on peak.
• The offer is valid for new business only (i.e., the meeting has not taken place in Sacramento within the past three years).
• The group must demonstrate intent to contract within 90 days of RFP submission.

• Not applicable to tentative, previously contracted, or repeat business within the 3-year window.
• Social events, weddings, and similar events are not eligible.
• Visit Sacramento reserves the right to verify the eligibility of any RFP submission. Fraudulent, incomplete, or noncompliant submissions will be disqualified.
• Recipients are responsible for any federal, state, or local taxes associated with receiving gift cards. Visit Sacramento is not responsible for any tax-related obligations.
• Gift cards are non-transferable and may not be exchanged or redeemed for cash.
• Visit Sacramento reserves the right to substitute a gift card of equal value or discontinue the promotion at its sole discretion in the event of unforeseen circumstances. Gift cards and hotel loyalty points will be issued electronically within 1 month of verified RFP submission, provided all qualifying criteria are met.
