Meet The Team

Sarah Atilano
Sarah serves as the strategic leader of the Convention Sales and Services team. Sarah oversees the development, implementation and monitoring of all sales strategies to ensure Visit Sacramento’s sales goals are achieved. Sarah’s career in the hospitality industry started in 1993 at an independently owned hotel in Folsom, CA. In 1999 Sarah moved to the San Francisco bay area to work for Hilton Hotels Worldwide and spent the rest of her hotel career with Hilton prior starting with Visit Sacramento at the end of 2010.

Narimel Tarver
Narimel handles all Central markets (except sports), Religious (all time zones), and government accounts (except Calif. State Goverment).

Susan Babich
Susan handles all accounts from the eastern seaboard as well as faith-based religious organizations and federal government accounts in all time zones.

Jeff Dougherty
Jeff handles the California State Association market.

Betsy Longmire
Betsy handles all markets (with the exception of religious, sporting competitions, Calif. State Government and Calif. State Association) that fall within Pacific, Mountain, Hawaii, and Alaska time zones.

David Eadie

Jill Culbertson
Jill Culbertson joined the Visit Sacramento Sports Commission in April of 2022. As Director of Sports Development, Jill leads Visit Sacramento’s sports events strategy, which includes directing bid processes, generating new business opportunities, and ensuring the successful implementation of hosting commitments.
Jill came to Visit Sacramento from the University of California, Berkeley where she served in multiple roles with the Cal Athletic Department. In her latest role as Assistant Athletic Director, Associate Chief of Staff, Jill supported a number of department initiatives, assisting in the day-to-day operations of the athletics department and special projects. Prior to her role in administration, Jill served as Assistant Athletic Director for Women’s Basketball Administration.
A native of the Sacramento region, Jill got her start working with the Sacramento Monarchs of the WNBA from 2001-2009. Jill also served as the CIF Tournaments and Technology Assistant and Assistant General Manager for the New York Liberty of the WNBA. She is a proud resident of Sacramento and enjoys exploring all it has to offer.

Beth Peters
Beth supports the sales team by promoting Sacramento as a meeting destination to meeting professionals in all markets throughout the US through tradeshow and prospecting support.
