A celebration of the Sacramento region's rich history and bountiful terrain, the restaurant is named after John Sutter's Hock Farm. Established in 1841, the settlement was the first large-scale agricultural settlement in Northern California. The menu changes frequently with the season and availability of local produce. While some favorites remain for an entire season, others change weekly along with daily market specials. The bar program features ingredient-driven classic cocktails, often re-imagined with local produce and locally-produced goods. The restaurant's design is a modern interpretation of farmhouse rustic with white brick, concrete flooring and beautiful reclaimed wood tables. By using local fabricators and artisans, Hock Farm brings a fresh aesthetic to the burgeoning Sacramento culinary scene.
