An Opening Night Gala Fundraiser on March 1st for The Ooley Theatre featuring the staged reading of our hit show from last year, String of Pearls Five productions ranging from the comedic to the dramatic, highlighting local playwrights, actors, and directors in the Sacramento area and beyond! Rowin' Up Salt River by Candace Adams: The story of Stage Coach Legend Charley Parkhurst comes to life along with all their secrets George Washington's Teeth by Mark St. Germain—The New Bunion Historical Society will stop at nothing to stay open, including stealing George Washington's teeth from a rival! This wild comedy will leave you laughing with well-placed barbs at our own ignorance and prejudices. Lovers, Dreamers and the Like This is our Variety Show series, where a collection of short plays and monologues are highlighted, taking us on a journey through laughter, tears and so much more. Four short plays and four monologues will leave you thinking, feeling, and wanting more! In Silence by Elise Hodge, Ernesto Bustos and Tyler Anderson A foray into the world of communication, often without words. What do we say without uttering a sound? Find out! Prism Theater Troupe: Takes us on a musical journey with homage to our favorite female singers and songwriters We end the festival with a final Closing Night Gala to finish celebrating all we have seen and experienced throughout the festival!
