Swing Collective Band

10191 Mills Station Rd., Rancho Cordova, CA 95670
Mills Station Arts & Cultural Center (M.A.C.C.) is pleased to host the Swing Collective Band. The Sacramento Swing Collective is a classic big band based in California that specializes in the high-energy music of the 1930s and 1940s, featuring a 17- to 19-piece ensemble of brass, woodwinds, and vocalists. The band performs a diverse repertoire ranging from swing-era legends like Duke Ellington and Count Basie to popular contemporary jazz, tailoring its size for venues like Track 7 Brewing Company and the Guild Theater. In 2026, the group continues its monthly residency at Movement Brewing, where they host lively evenings of big-band jazz and community dancing. Known for its commitment to the "community band" spirit, the collective often provides its own sound and lighting for private events, weddings, and public concerts throughout the greater Sacramento area.
