In this fun and beginner-friendly crochet class, kids ages 9 to 12 will learn the basics of crochet through simple and engaging projects. Over five days, they’ll explore fundamental stitches like chain stitch, single crochet, and slip stitch while creating small, hands-on projects such as bracelets, coasters, or a small plushie. Using colorful yarn and easy-to-hold crochet hooks, students will develop fine motor skills, patience, and creativity in a relaxed and encouraging environment. With plenty of guidance and support, they’ll gain confidence in working with yarn and hooks while discovering the joy of handmade crafts. No prior experience is needed—just a love for creativity and a willingness to learn! All materials included. Teaching Artist: Sandee Hancock
