Every year, on the second weekend in June, the Sacramento LGBT Community Center brings more than 20,000 visitors to Downtown Sacramento to celebrate Sacramento Pride, the most prominent LGBTQ+ event in the Sacramento region.

It is hard to feel like celebrating with those entry fees... It seems like the city should have some sort of event budget to cover potable toilets and cleanup. Free to the public events would be a better use of tax dollars than the arena.

On the Sacramento Pride website, it says that bags are allowed and there will be bag check however they encourage guests not to bring bags to help with the security process. You can read more about their security and bag policy here: https://sacramentopride.org/faq-2/
