The immigrant experience is unique, beautiful, and diverse with its share of joys and challenges. Join us on October 30th at 6 PM in the Hinde Auditorium on the campus of Sacramento State for our annual Immigrant Stories, an event amplifying the lived experiences of our immigrant community members. Five storytellers will take the stage to share their true personal stories of navigating life as an immigrant in Sacramento. Storytellers for the evening include Lucy McCullough, Janine Marapuga, Sara Aghamohammadi, Nancy Awad, and Carlos Gaxiola. This event is hosted in partnership with the Dreamer Resource Center of Sacramento State. It is sponsored by Capital Public Radio and SMUD and funded in part by a grant from Sacramento State University.
