Saturday July 12th at 7:30pm step into the ultimate high school experience with Genre High Improv at the Sacramento Comedy Spot. Genre High is a one-act, side-splitting comedy show that’s as fresh and unpredictable.  This one-act play is set in the themes and tropes of your favorite teen movie! The theater transformed into the quintessential high school setting, this show is a hilarious rollercoaster through the ups, downs, and dramatic twists of teen life—all created on the spot.

Every performance is uniquely shaped by the audience, who provide a made-up title that sparks the night’s completely improvised adventure. From clumsy cheerleaders and misunderstood geeks to rebellious nerds and inspirational teachers, every character and storyline is crafted live, making each show a one-of-a-kind event.

Perfect for a night out with friends or a fun date, Genre High delivers non-stop laughs in a relaxed, vibrant atmosphere. Pair the comedy with a selection of craft beers from our bar, and enjoy an evening of entertainment that’s as affordable as it is unforgettable. Tickets are just $10, with no additional fees—so gather your crew, grab a drink, and get ready for an improv extravaganza that’s totally, hilariously, high school!
