Come have fun on the farm at the 30th Annual Farm and Tractor Days. This free interactive event is fun for all ages. * See displays and demonstrations of vintage tractors, hit-and-miss engines, and other farm equipment * Meet farm animals * Go on a tractor-pulled hay ride * Tour the Dry Creek Ranch House Museum Friday is a great day for field trips and children’s groups to visit. Special events on Saturday include a swap meet starting at 7 am and a tractor parade at 2 pm. A dedication ceremony for the newly named Robert F. Bastian Memorial Trail will be at 9 am. There will also be a live stringband Saturday afternoon and a Pinewood Derby all day. Both days, local vendors will be selling their wares, and food will be provided by the Rio Linda/Elverta Food Closet. Each day will begin with a flag-raising ceremony at 10 am by the Rio Linda Junior ROTC and Boy Scouts. Have a vintage tractor you want to show off? Contact Branch 13 at 209-810-5913 for details.
