Dinner and Fundraiser for California Fly Fishers Unlimited

CFFU invites you to our fundraising dinner to support our outreach to youth, veteran organizations, and individuals new to the art of fly fishing. Buffet-style Dinner Raffles Live Auction Silent Auction California Fly Fishers Unlimited is directly involved in our community. We organize and/or participate in annual fishing derbies for disabled individuals, children, and veterans; teach fly fishing and fly tying skills; clean-up a one-mile path in the American River Parkway quarterly; participate in Creek Week. Our Conservation Committee allocates up to $10,000 per year to local conservation and restoration projects, CFFU members routinely volunteer for hands-on waterway enhancement and restoration projects and participate in legislative endeavors to conserve our waterways. CFFU provides an annual scholarship to a PhD candidate pursuing work in the area of fisheries biology and/or ecology. We also sponsor over fifty "Fish in the Classroom" programs for elementary students. For education advancement we provide Fly Fishing 101 classes to new members-including river safety,  invasive species information, entomology understanding, and teach fly fishing skills and ethics to area youth groups.
