Call for Artists: Aperture 2025, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion

808 Lincoln Way, Auburn, CA 95603
Call to Artists-Aperture 25 | General Gomez Arts This year’s Photography Month Show continues our exploration of the camera aperture: a space in which light passes, from the prospective of diversity, equity, and inclusion. We are thrilled to invite photographers to submit their work for the Aperture 2025 photography exhibition Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. This show seeks to showcase powerful imagery that embodies the themes of diversity, equity, and inclusion across various subjects, including humans, landscapes, and wildlife. Whether capturing the diversity of human experience, the harmonious coexistence of nature and wildlife, or the beauty of inclusive spaces, we encourage artists to explore these concepts through their unique lens. The exhibition will provide a platform for works that not only celebrate the richness of our world but also provoke reflection on the importance of fostering equal opportunities and representation for all. We welcome submissions that challenge stereotypes, amplify underrepresented voices, and promote understanding and unity through the art of photography. The show will run from April 4 through May 5, 2025. We are looking for creative and innovative interpretations. Think original and different including alternative processes are acceptable for submission. The deadline for applications, including images, is Monday, March 16th. Submissions will be juried for acceptance into the show. An Artist reception will be held on Friday, April 11th from 5-8 pm.
