: (916) 783-4117
This beginner crochet class for Parent/Child (ages 8 UP) and single adults is perfect for those looking to learn a new creative skill in a fun and relaxed setting. Using chunky yarn and large crochet hooks, participants will learn basic crochet stitches like chain, single crochet, and double crochet while working on beginner-friendly fall projects such as a beanie, hat, headband, pumpkin or a small bag. With chunky yarn, these projects can be completed in a 3 hour setting. However, participants will learn how to read simple crochet patterns, and be provided with instructions on finishing their project at home. No prior experience is required—just a bit of patience and a passion for creativity! Light, fall inspired refreshments will be provided. Each participant will receive their own crochet hook kit and yarn to take home. All of the materials, supplies and instruction are included in the registration fee. Teaching Artist: Sandee Hancock
