The World’s Strongest Man competition is returning to Sacramento May 24-29, 2022, for five days of grueling contests between 30 men. This event marks the first time World’s Strongest Man is hosting a fan fest, and it’s free to attend.

World’s Strongest Man came to Sacramento last year for the first time in June, just as events began to return to California after the initial Covid-19 shutdowns, and attendance was limited. This year, thanks to the fan fest, far more spectators will be able to attend and see the feats of strength that World’s Strongest Man has long been known for.

Events will take place on Capitol Mall between Eighth and Ninth streets, and the only entrance is through the fan fest at 10th and L streets in downtown Sacramento. The fan fest will include food trucks, activations, giveaways and more.

All event details are available on the official World’s Strongest Man website, and the daily schedule is as follows:

Qualifier Day 1: Tuesday, May 24
Qualifier Day 2: Wednesday, May 25
Qualifier Day 3: Thursday, May 26
Finals Day 1: Saturday, May 28
Finals Day 2: Sunday, May 29.

Note that there are no events on Friday, May 27.
