The Covid-19 pandemic is not putting a stop to one of Sacramento's most popular dining events: Dine Downtown. It's just different this year in a few ways. Obviously, eating inside is a no-go, so you'll be taking your food to go, and you'll have 17 full days starting Jan. 8 to partake.
Dine Downtown typically features a multi-course meal at the same price regardless of which participating restaurant you visit. This year, however, there are three price levels, and restaurants are offering not just dinner, but brunch, lunch and dinner.
Three-course meals will be available at $25, $35 or $45.
The Downtown Sacramento Partnership hosts Dine Downtown, and when Public Affairs and Communications Director Emilie Cameron appeared on the Visit Sacramento Podcast in November, she emphasized how important it is for Sacramentans to support downtown businesses with the repeated closures and stay-at-home orders hitting them so hard. Dine Downtown is one of the best ways to do that, and you get to treat yourself in the process.
Approximately 30 restaurants are participating in this year's event. Visit the official event website for a complete list, as well as the option to purchase gift cards and more.
