As the tragedies and lasting damages from the earthquake and ensuing tsunami in Japan continue to unfold, Sacramento is doing its part to contribute to relief efforts. Here are a few events happening this April where you can get out and do your part to help Japan!

Food & Wine: Sacramento Bake Sale for Japan

Sat, Apr 2, 10am-2pm at Café Au Lait
Free admission + cost of purchases
Cafe Au Lait is hosting Sacramento's Bakesale for Japan. Donated goods (cakes, pies, bread, cupcakes, cookies, and more!) will be for sale as part of a nationwide event! All proceeds go to the relief organization Peace Winds Japan. Come buy something sweet and learn how to fold an origami crane.

How did Will Ferrell, Kristen Wiig, and Chris Kattan get their start before they became stars on SNL? They studied improv at the Groundlings in L.A.! Start your 2nd Saturday this April on the right foot--with laughter! The Gym Improv Troupe and Trust Fall Sketch Comedy will provide comic relief to midtown so we can all provide disaster relief to Japan.
