Monday marked the first of the marquee events in the inaugural Sacramento Farm-to-Fork Week: a cattle drive with about 50 cows from Tower Bridge to the Capitol down Capitol Mall.

The cows came from the Flying U Rodeo Co. out of Marysville, about 40 miles north of Sacramento, and shine a light on the fact that farm-to-fork covers the entire spectrum of the food system in Sacramento.

At about 10:30 a.m., cowboys, cowgirls and cows all crossed Tower Bridge at a walk while onlookers lined the street.

For the event, we put a camera on one of the cowboys, which not only shows a few clips of the drive, but catches him lassoing an unsuspecting onlooker.

The event was a hit with locals, and it's just a hint at what else will take place during Sacramento's inaugural Farm-to-Fork Week.
