Visit Sacramento is expanding the hours of the annual Farm-to-Fork Street Festival into the evening on the second day to provide more farm-fresh fun and another headliner to the live music portion of the free community event.

The 2020 Farm-to-Fork Festival includes not only the two-day street festival, but also the Legends of Wine tasting event at the State Capitol and the Tower Bridge Dinner.

In 2020, the Farm-to-Fork Festival dates are as follows:

  • Legends of Wine: Thursday, Sept. 10
  • Tower Bridge Dinner: Sunday, Sept. 13
  • Farm-to-Fork Street Festival: Friday, Sept. 18 (4:30-9 p.m.) and Saturday, Sept. 19 (11 a.m.-10 p.m.)

The popular Farm-to-Fork Festival events began in 2013, the year following Sacramento’s being named America’s Farm-to-Fork Capital. Last year, the FREE Farm-to-Fork Street Festival drew 155,000 to Capitol Mall for two days of food sampling, vendor exhibits, beer and wine, and, of course, a full lineup of live music. With four more hours of the festival on Saturday this year, it promises to be the best festival yet.

Legends of Wine is held on the steps of the State Capitol and features wines selected by local industry experts Darrell Corti and David Berkley paired with bites from local eateries. The event is a great opportunity for attendees to sample the wide array of Sacramento-area wines, often interacting with the winemakers themselves.

The Tower Bridge Dinner is a one-of-a-kind dining experience for more than 800 people on Sacramento’s iconic Tower Bridge that raises funds for scholarships for Sacramento State students and showcases Sacramento’s culinary talent.
