Deon Taylor & Bobby Jackson presents the 3rd Annual One Scary Nite. There will be a red carpet event, special live performances by Stilt Walkers, The Half Dead Man, 100 live zombies, a 50 foot fire breathing dragon, and more.

: The Citizen Hotel, Oct 28, Fri 7:30pm-11pm

Enjoy good eats, cocktails, dancing, a silent auction and a costume contest as you support Wind Youth Service’s efforts to provide shelter, meals, programs and services to the 1,700 homeless and at-risk youth in the Sacramento area.



Sacramento Turn Verein Halloween

Sacramento Turn Verein's 6th Annual Halloween
: Sacramento Turn Verein, Oct 29, Sat 8pm-Midnight

Don’t miss the 6th Annual Sacramento Turn Verein's Halloween Bash hosted by the STV Soccer Club & Women’s Soccer Teams. The band Walking Spanish will be playing live music. Costumes are a must. A costume contest with prizes will be held later that night.

Jerry Perry presents the Halloween Howler with KB & The Slingtones, The Revtones, and The Vintage Vandals.


Strange Bedfellows





Nightlife: Strange Bedfellows: Twin and Group Costume Party: The Golden Bear, Oct 29, Sat 9pm-1am

The Golden Bear gets weird as they invite all you Strange Bedfellows to a twin and group costume party. Arrive with your best twin costume with you and your friend or get a group together and really make your presence known. Spooky noises by CrookOne and DJ Whores.



Pirate's Ball




Nightlife: Pirate’s Ball: District 30, Oct 29 & Oct 31, Sat & Mon 9pm

At the Pirate's Ball, a Hollywood Theatrical Production, enjoy swashbuckling cirque-style entertainment and over $10,000 in props and decor. Saturday night features DJ Este & Monday night features David Carvalho.





Poetry & Lit: A Very Spooky Nite of Poe, Poe, Poetry: Sacramento Poetry Center, Oct 31, Mon 7pm-9pm

City of Davis Poet Laureate Allegra Silberstein and poet/translator William O'Daly read the scary poems of Edgar Allan Poe, poems of other scary poets, and even some poems of their own. Other poets join in to add to the mayhem. Open mic included.


Old Ironsides

See your favorite local bands perform as their favorite Dead Rock Stars! Bands include: I Scream On Sundae, Diciembre Gris, Ricky Berger, Sureshot, Denver Piledrivers, Crazy Ballhead, Be Brave Bold Robot, Virtue Vices, Blame The Bishop, The Hot Tar Roofers, Noah Clark's Sharp Dressed Men.


Nightlife: Old Sacramento Halloween Party: Nightmare on 2nd Street
: Old Sacramento, Oct 31, Mon 8pm-2am

Join the seven bars on 2nd & J Street Halloween Night for a Nightmare on 2nd Street. You can hop from one bar to another, enjoy some dinner, watch a little football, listen to some live music, dance, and enjoy Bacardi's new Oakheart Rum on special. There's no cover and it's going to be one ghoulishly good time.
