Our very own Mr. Sacramento made a special appearance at the opening reception of the California Park & Recreation Society’s annual conference. This superstar of our city welcomed delighted parks and rec workers to Sacramento’s Memorial Auditorium at the start of their three-day conference where they would soon learn that they, too, could be superheroes in their own communities. Delegates were given their own special capes, and the group commenced a walk to the steps of the California State Capitol, with Mr. Sacramento in their midst. What a great start to a conference, don’t you think? Just a little something we thought up to add that personal touch to one of our groups.
