Old Sugar Mill is unique for many reasons – its history, location, venue and service. Located 15 minutes from downtown Sacramento in the charming Sacramento River town of Clarksburg, the Old Sugar Mill operated as a sugar factory from 1935 to 1993. It was renovated as a facility for wine tasting and production in keeping with its agricultural roots, opening to the public in 2003. Today it is home to 11 California wineries and their signature wines. Several tenants are micro-wineries that make and process their wine right at the Old Sugar Mill in Clarksburg.

The Old Sugar Mill hosts events throughout the year, from food and wine pairing fairs to concert events. It is also a great venue for offsite events. The property sits on 108 acres. It includes two large buildings, a production facility, and it is located across the street from a beautiful vineyard. Its Old-World historical buildings constructed of old brick, rustic wood, vintage windows and extended ceilings transport guests to the industrial revolution.

Four event spaces include:

The Galleria, a 4,320-square-foot space surrounded by the wine tasting rooms can accommodate up to 250 guests.

The Barrel Room, a 1,855-square-foot space is lined with beautiful wine barrels and can accommodate up to 112 guests.

The Boiler House, a 4,746-square-foot space is the actual room which housed the boilers that created all the electricity needed for processing the sugar beets. Its industrial structure and rustic charm can accommodate up to 300 guests.

The Plaza, is an outdoor space with lawn that can accommodate more than 1,000 guests.
