Every Memorial Day Weekend since 1974, Old Sacramento and other downtown venues have drawn a horde of jazz fans to the Sacramento Jazz Jubilee, the top jazz festival in the West.

Kenneth Raskin will be conducting Camerata California's premiere performance of Karl Jenkins' For the Fallen, accompanied by the Camellia Symphony Orchestra. Military receive free admission.

Memorial Weekend is the official start to Summer so kick it off with the king of pool parties DJ Skribble. Enjoy The Park's three full bars and huge outdoor patio.

Enjoy the stage entertainment program, professional magician show, face painting, jump houses, and lots of fun and prizes, including activities for the little ones.

Bring youngsters to the Museum this weekend to share how important the Endangered Species Act is and what types of animals it protects.

 

Sac City Rollers Star-Spangled Splatter

This Memorial Day weekend, the Sac City Rollers Capitol Punishers are lacing up their quad skates to take on Antioch's Undead Bettys. There’ll be raffle prizes, vendors, a beer garden for those 21 and older, and lots of intense derby action!
