SACRAMENTO, CA - Sacramento magazine hosts the 12th annual Best of Sacramento Party at the Sacramento Convention Center on Thursday, December 2, 2010, from 5:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Partygoers are also encouraged to arrive early and bid on a number of exclusive silent auction items from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. All proceeds from the silent auction and ticket sales will benefit the March of Dimes.
Sacramento magazine's readers and editors have voted for their favorite local businesses in more than 200 categories. The Best of Sacramento Party is a celebration of them all. Guests will enjoy food, wines and goods provided by party sponsors and Best of Sacramento award winners. Mumbo Gumbo will perform and Hip Service will be this year's headlining act!
The Best of Sacramento Party is the largest of its kind in the nation. Over 7,500 people are expected to attend the 12th annual event. Our goal is to raise more than $350,000 with the support of party sponsors, exhibitors, wineries and attendees. Meeting this goal would put the total dollars raised for the March of Dimes at more than 3.8 million dollars over the last 11years!
You must be at least 21 years of age to attend the party. Tickets are $75 (per person) in advance and will be available at the door for $95 the day of the event. Tickets are on sale now at sacmag.com or through the Community Center Box Office at 916.264.5181 and the March of Dimes at 916.922.1913. To make a contribution or donation to the silent auction, please contact the March of Dimes. For information regarding available sponsorship opportunities, call Joe Chiodo at 916.224.5677.
